Workshops Goals and Overview
It is our goal to provide participants with the necessary contacts, courage and confidence to perform a home funeral by the end of the workshop. We do this by:
· creating community
· discovering useful local resources
· demonstrating practicalities
· sharing simple rituals and experiences
· clarifying state laws
· exploring challenges and fears
· explaining final disposition choices, including green or natural burial
· discussing environmental, psychological and spiritual impact of various choices
